WEEK 2:
"Rigid Structure: Icon Painting"
Preparing panels, rabbitskin glue and gesso; icon techniques

WEEK 3:
"Transformation: Icons to the Early Renaissance"
Completing panels, grinding pigments; transition from icons to the renaissance

WEEK 4:
"Luminosity: Botticelli and the High Renaissance"
More materials prep, silverpoint drawing, scientific color layering

WEEK 5:
"Breaking the Mold: Isabel Bishop, Reginald Marsh, Ben Shahn"
